The reasoning behind a setup.
A trigger
The price or condition that starts the idea. Not “looks good here”, but a level, on a stated timeframe, that either happens or does not.
An invalidation
The point at which the read is wrong and the idea is closed. Published at the same time as the trigger, and never moved afterwards.
A size frame
What the idea is worth as a fraction of risk, so a high-conviction setup and a speculative one are not written as if they were the same.
A review
The next edition scores it. A setup that never triggered is recorded as never triggered, not quietly dropped from the archive.
